Inside Sales Representative
Energy Curtailment Specialists, Buffalo, NY

Job Description:

Energy Curtailment Specialists (ECS) is the largest administrator of electricity demand response programs in the United States.  Demand response is a viable resource option for reducing peak electricity use helping to stabilize the power grid during times of crisis.  These critical programs are available in New York at a time when additional reduction is necessary in the face of increasing demands for electricity and the likelihood of continued shortfalls.  ECS, the acknowledged leader in this field seeks qualified sales representatives to expand our market area and establish new business with prospects including manufacturers, healthcare facilities, schools, hotels and other commercial entities.

With this challenging position the Sales Representative will be responsible for:

1. Generating new business via cold calling, referrals and appointment setting.
2. Articulate the product/service to decision makers.
3. Developing an understanding of a prospects business operation, needs and perspective.
4. Fulfill complete sales cycle, including proper, consistent follow up.
5. Utilizing your skill set to conquer objections.  
6. Close business
7. Maintain branch goals for prospecting and new business acquisition.
8. Provide superior customer service to all clients.

Qualifications:

1. Previous sales experience preferred but not required.
2. Basic computer competence, ability to work with or learn general applications including Excel, Power Point and other Microsoft Office products.
3. Must be organized, reliable and self motivated.
4. Demonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills.

IMMEDIATE NEED FOR OUTSIDE SALES / LEAD GENERATORS / PRESENTERS

ECS is expanding its sales force! Outside Sales Representatives will cover Long Island and/or NYC (5 boroughs) area. Duties to include setting appointments, traveling to pre-set appointments, following up on leads, researching new prospects and generally enhancing ECS' participant base.
