The single most important reason for the success of the Operation Save New York Program is the fact that our customers are happy and satisfied. Once enrolled, the customer is not simply forgotten about. Through a variety of proactive members ECS looks to continually educate the customer in terms of how it could maximize its revenue under the program. This analysis comes in the form of a review of the interval data at the facility, performing demand response audits at the facility without expense to the customer, identifying any opportunities for funding through NYSERDA, along with many other measures.
Additionally, ECS believes strongly in rewarding its successful participants, not simply in the form of payments the customer receives, but also in some additional unique ways:
- ECS awards the customers with the best performance during each period with the Blackout Buster Award which involves a large cash bonus or season tickets to the New York Yankees, New York Mets or New York Knicks ©
- ECS awards its successful customers with plaques which they can proudly hang in their facility to demonstrate their tremendous civic responsibility.
- ECS issues press releases identifying the great performances and contributions by particular customers which could, if desired, be forwarded to newsletters or periodicals of the most interest to the customer.
- ECS maintains season tickets to virtually every major sports team in New York State. Those tickets are distributed to customers throughout the year and it gives customers an opportunity to either reward a few of their employees or otherwise give away to their own customers.
ECS has a fully-staffed Customer Relations Department that can handle virtually any question or issue that a customer may have. We want our customers to be excited about participating in this effort and helping the community avoid blackouts.
